  1. Thank you Yes they are about 1/2 - 3/4 in. wide.
  2. I have a 1972 Monte Carlo that has a chrome strip on the top edge of each door. I would like to know if anyone else has a Monte with this same chrome strip and if this was only on special edition Monte's.
  3. Thank you very much. I'll check them out.
  4. Can anyone tell me what parts I need to connect the parking brake cables on a 1972 Monte? I have the cable that connects to the cables coming from the rear brakes and also the cable that connects to the parking brake pedal. I need the parts that connect those two cables together in the middle. Thanks, Bob

    IGN Fuse

Can anyone tell me where the "ign" fuse is in a 72 Monte? I checked under the dash, but I didn't see anything labeled "ign". Thanks, Bob
  6. I did something really stupid - I cross connected the battery cables. When I turned the key nothing happened - when I got out of the car I noticed puffs of smoke coming from under the car. I reconnected the cables the correct way and now I have nothing! What did I do? I'm thinking I burnt up the fuse link on the solenoid on the starter, but I am not sure. HELP
  7. I would like to know if anyone could tell me what the correct seat belts look like for the 1972 Monte Carlo. Thanks
