  1. Last Saturday, got the 70 out, and up on the lift to remove both bumpers. Last Monday, they were both dropped off at Librandi's Plating near Harrisburg, PA for restoration and re-chroming.

Rob, ty. What aftermarket source did you use for the bumper?

    Bumpers

My 70 has a few noticeable dings in the front and rear bumpers. They are otherwise in good shape. Wondering if anyone has had bumpers restored, with dents and re-chromed. The other thought was to order them through OPGI and/or another parts outlet. Anyone purchase and install aftermarket bumpers successfully? Thank you.
  4. Hoping to redo the drivers side bucket seat in the 70. Also hoping to repaint the hubcaps. As for the 72. Nothing at this time.
  5. In todays Philadelphia Inquirer. Not for me. Will be a gasser until the end.

Has anyone found these, with the ability to order them painted, through any of the known parts sources?
  9. Anyone convert from R-12 to R-134? Looking to find out details on how it was accomplished and what parts and supplies are needed. Thank you
  10. Photo's from the Eastern Mini Meet. Some at the Show Field, some at the Hotel. Another great time with beautiful cars and wonderful people. On Friday June 25, I met and talked to Jim Bernanski, who worked at the GM Baltimore Plant on the Monte Carlo Line at the time my 70 Monte Carlo was built, which was in the first week of July 1970.Grabbed the Baltimore Build Sheet and asked Jim for a photo with the car.
  11. No Message, just not uploading, will try knocking down the size.
  12. Tried to upload Mini Meet Photo's with no luck! Will try again tomorrow
  13. Rob, now that I am getting actual AC and cold air in the car, I’m not going to “sweat it.”! 😎
  14. Getting them both ready for Carlisle. Also added an inline shutoff valve on the 5/8” heater hose off the manifold to eliminate heated air entering the cabin in the 72.
  15. Thank you for all the replies. A shutoff valve has been placed inline on the 5/8” hose off the manifold. No leaks. No warm air. AC is back to cooling the cabin as designed. On to Carlisle !

  17. Can you show a photo of that setup?
  18. My 72 has nothing on the hoses or the manifold. TY for your replies.
  19. My 70, no. My 72, yes. It’s a mystery to me at this point
  20. Yup, my 2nd 72, not on either one of them.
  21. I am getting warm air through the vents of the 72. Heater door opens and closes properly, temp control lever works. Wondering if this setup on the 72 would fix that
