  1. I'm using aftermarket tubular A-arms.
  2. I'm replacing the stock suspension with coil overs. The front coil overs have a plastic cushion for the spring in the lower A arm. Should it also have a plastic cushion in the upper A arm for the top of the spring? Thanks, Ed
  3. I guess this LS2 came from a Cadillac. Ebay sellers will say anything. Ed
  4. In using coil-overs does that eliminate the need for front and rear sway bars? Ed
  5. My LS2 came out of a Camaro. I think a 2005. Ed
  6. Have ordered motor mount adapters and will use Turbo 350 trans. Will I have to modify oil pan to fit and notch frame for A/C compressor? Tks, Ed
  7. Would someone list all the items required to install a LS3 into a 1st gen? Tks, Ed
  8. In changing rear gear ratios (to 3.42) the 350TH trans output shaft drive gear and the speedometer driven gear also required a change to have speedometer read correctly. These gears are color coded for teeth count. So, what color gear/teeth count do I need? Thanks, Ed Wieder, ejw71
  9. Where can I buy an installation kit to mount the alternator, steering pump and A/C compressor? Thanks, Ed

    TH350 with a LS

Thanks for all the info. Ed
  11. I'm going to install a LS engine in my '71. My intention is to use its TH350 trans (of course beefed up). Please send me your pros and cons on this. My pros are no computer control of the TH350 and with proper placement of the LS the TH350 can use its stock trans cross member, mount and driveshaft. Or am I singing Dixie? Thanks, Ed Wieder, ejw71
  12. What is the conversion factor for 1/8 mile time to quarter time. If a car does the eighth mile in 9 seconds, what would its quarter mile time be? Thanks, Ed

    Re; 72 SS

My view is to let them rant on. I would advise someone as to the true nature of the car only if I was asked. Of course, this asumes that I know the true nature of the car. Some of you might remember me (favorably or unfavorably) as Sgt Ed of the SS454 Police. Yea, been away work'n on old GMs. Ed
