  1. And some NOS are garbage just ran into this on a 67 camaro. It was a late run. NORS with a GM sticker. Made 20 years later. Fit awful
  2. Andreas had a 72 with the air ride system. Maybe a picture of his underhood is still floating around.
  3. Stay away from Metro Roof Rails! To thick
  4. Quite a ways but yes do it often. Thanks for the recommendation

  9. It's the only one you'll see done this way. You can't simply remove a skirt on a 59 cadillac it'd made as part of the car. Of course it snowballed and ended up replacing the side trunk floor pans and repaired the rest of the lower quarter rust and front fender rust Video on YouTube of the process The trim is just stick on parts store 1/4" chrome that imitates the front perfectly. Its a driver and i drive it often. I dread pulling it off the road honestly to LS swap later this year but once my Vista cruiser is totally done that's the plan. https://youtu.be/w2JmlEQRrfw
  10. I still have those pictures. I will Never forget that. I'm still the same basically lol
  11. I have some in SC but pickup only. 864 940 2146
  12. That car bid up to a good number a few years ago at mecum but they decided to no sell it. It's at the Daytona turkey run about every year. It's a nice car I just don't like the olds cutlass dog leg in the quarter panel. Chevelle top quarters work better. Steve has my personal favorite convertible I had the pleasure of refreshing. Formerly owned by winfred owens.
  13. It's amazing racing. Strict rules but worth it
  14. I'd get the one from ausleys best one for the money and looks correct except being digital and black face.
  15. Looking good. First time I've seen someone do that stamping back on the lower fender.
  16. Not much off season here. But my Vista cruiser is still at the upholstery shop. Just did a fender skirt delete on my 59 cadillac and LS swap is planned for that once wagon is totally done. Already have most of the parts in my possession The 70 Monte I have vintage air waiting on it whenever i want to put it in. Factory air works but hard to beat Vair.. My hot rod Monte has extra set of seats at upholstery shop too doing bolster covers. Same place as my wagon πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ 59 impala has all factory correct interior waiting on it too in my closet πŸ˜†
  17. I had to scrouge for those on Jayces 70 SS I'm working on. Everywhere says out of stock.
  18. Nice. We are Still waiting on the 71 SS progress 😁
  19. And 7" wheels now... with my stance... big booboo
  20. Yep.. I figured it would end up there again. I think I figured out who has it. Hadn't accepted my friend request yet.... strange
  21. It's Restoration... I don't tell people I do Restoration and Rebuild Work that sounds like I also rebuild engines Transmissions and Rear-ends... You can restore a car to original or restore a car and modify it. Either way you are restoring the body from a rough condition to better than new in most cases
  22. I saw a close up of the engine compartment. The underwood insulation looked like it was from 1990. It was definitely a driver quality car.
