  1. Unfortunately its on ongoing trend ๐Ÿ˜ก I'll stop before I go off on a rant ๐Ÿ˜  Saved the tax payers $$$$$ on a trial and possibly just a slap on the wrist ๐Ÿ˜ก My thoughts and prayers go out to the families ( the officers) BIH thug
  2. Yea I know it's late notice.....They have a 72 listed and I was waiting hoping they posted some pics but no ๐Ÿ™ƒ I couldnt find any info on non-buyer entry fees on the web site either. Maybe somebody knows more https://abingdonautoauction.com/classic-car-sale
  3. This one just popped up on one of my lists https://www.mecum.com/lots/1116933/1970-chevrolet-monte-carlo/?aa_id=585986-0
  4. Good info in this old thread https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/topic/10744-linkage-pic-required/#comment-225666
  5. I believe your talking about the "steering column lockout" arm, (yea one of the few correct terms I learned and sort of remembered ๐Ÿคฃ) As Dennis said it's adjustable. Some of us, had an issue with that when we added headers (altho some of us MAY have tried to reinstall backwards, I haven't returned to that issue yet ๐Ÿคฃ) I currently still have it zip tied in the up position without the arm going to the tranny ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  6. I'm hoping to get the car cover off, off the jack stands, and cruising next weekend ๐ŸคžWish I had taken advantage of that warm week in March but oh well
  7. Just ran across this .......... https://www.gaaclassiccars.com/vehicles/40050/1970-chevrolet-monte-carlo-ss-454
  8. When does production start on orders for Smurf Custom Hood Scoops ? ๐Ÿคฃ
  9. Welcome to the madness ๐Ÿค˜I too was a lurker when shopping for a Monte and became a dues paying member the day it arrived in my driveway ๐Ÿคฃ Thanks for your support, as you know lots of info and knowledge here There's a mini-meet in Bristol in May (check the threads) and a BIG MEET in Carlisle in June. You don't have to bring the Monte to hang out and enjoy the festivities and meet the people from the club.
  10. Good point, I was only looking at the final numbers, also subtract the sellers premium ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  11. Made 1K in two years ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I'm gonna say Aarons delivered price is a better investment , not to mention well detailed during ownership.
  12. Hadn't seen the news yet tonight, glad everyone so far is ok. One of the things I hated living in Cal and working downtown LA. Working on the 55th floor and knowing my car was parked on level -8 ๐Ÿ™ƒ
  13. Ive heard both sides about this and I'm NO mechanic......But was told you can add R134A to the old system. I'm sure someone more knowledgaeable will comment/update this scenario. DISCLAIMER....... maybe I was told this because I don't run my a/c, I just wanted to test the system after the engine swap to make sure everything was working properly. I bought the adapter kit, charged and tested the system, all ok. Haven't used it since. I removed the fittings to keep the stock look ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
  14. Seems like yesterday we were in the 90's ๐Ÿคฃ
  15. Got it, didnt realize it was a cat ๐Ÿคฃ
