Last year at Carlisle I had to change my entry from Monte to Suburban 🤣 Didnt care still parked with the club . Someone even tried to park with us with a Blue Oval , they were quickly re-routed to the non-participating parking area 🤣

Yea Willie, two handfuls of years ago (see pic below, do they still print these?) I had a sketchy FL title that FL wouldn't register. Found a place in Hemmings News in Alabama that would register it (for a small fee) and then I got it registered in FL 😲

If it passed DMV you should be fine. In Fl they're sticklers on classic cars dealer or not. Personal sales require extra paperwork 🙃

You'll also notice there is some nudging to get members to come to the meets and hang out with the people behind the keyboard who share a love of the Monte Carlos. All done of course trying to promote this community. Just like making an omelette, some eggs get broken. And unfortunately sometimes with humor, sarcasm, and a few wise [censored] comments someone's feelings get hurt. Life goes on.

Absolutely run a zinc , I use valvoline on the blue oval. Champion spark pugs on the blue oval as well, I also run av-gas since it's not a daily driver. The Monte is a crate motor so thats all specific .

As Aaron said, and it's what I thought I remembered, no end caps and no bottom piece trim on the seats.

I ordered mine from SS396.COM , package had trim for both seats and end caps.

Don't hold me to that time limit, I'll lose every time 🤣 I had to wait till I replied a little so I could finish my first cup of coffee, otherwise DT / the grammar/spelling police would be pointing out my errors 🤣 Nothing wrong with "nudging" people to become dues paying members, it's what keeps this crazy train rolling down the tracks. I didnt put the end caps on mine, at least I can't take another hit on the modifications points 🤣 But I did add the lower piece and I thought that might not be "original" I just wanted the look.

I just replaced most of mine, no adhesive needed (1970 SS ) I'm pretty sure Ron also did his with new trim. I ordered all new pieces I'm not a "stock" guy so someone else will chime In with the "original" configuration on trim.

Well it was in the 70's today and I almost pulled the car cover off and took it off the jack stands but . .......... I was a responsible adult and got the chain saws ready to walk the fence lines this weekend and cut up the trees and limbs that fell over the winter 🙃 Maybe next week
