That was back in the day when I was 29 years old and a kid like me could actually afford to buy a new car and have a family.
Paying $ 50 thousand plus for new car today makes no sense. Having to lease one makes even less sense….

Bought her in Burns flat OK 1973 … Drove it to Calif 1975 and pulled my 36Chevy… Great car… Sold her in a trade for a guys boat, his 56 Merc… He almost threw his wife in on the deal…. LOL... He later bought my 1956 Crown Vic that I partially restored and saved from a trip to the grave yard…
