  1. Is there a GM part number for them? I'd like to locate some.
  2. Is there a GM part number for them? I'd like to locate some.
  3. Where did you get your brass air line fittings that go into your leveling valve? I noticed that the stock fittings do not fit the old air lines.
  4. Looks real nice. Did you have any issues getting the rear shocks in? I couldn't get mine on as they won't extend as far as needed. Mine are Monroe supposed to be a direct replacement.
  5. Wow your car looks amazing (cool in the video too). 😎
  6. I too was looking for new control arms without ball joints and couldn't find any. You will need to drill out the rivets. It was a bear on the first one and by the second I had a handle on it and it came off pretty easy.
  7. I bought my stamped units from RPS https://restorationpartssource.com/store/about_rps.htm It took over a month for them to ship out to me.. I called several times during that time following up as well. The units were nice. I ended up removing the ball joints and rubber bushings so I could have the control arms powder coated. I installed polyurethane bushings and also prefer to have the ability to unbolt the ball joints and replace if needed in the future. I also ended up using the stock cross shafts since the new were different (a nut rather than the factory bolt). See pics below one is the unit before I took it apart.
  8. Gentlemen, I got the parts from Rock auto separately. The pistons were around $11 each and the seal kit was around $2-3 depending on the brand you choose.
  9. I bought after market stamped control arms but removed the rubber bushings and installed polyurethane. But I'm trying to keep to the stock look.
  10. If you want good front end handling I would go with polyurethane bushings. I just had my steering box rebuilt to a quick ratio unit from http://www.powersteering.com
  11. Oh wow what a trip. I guess maybe they're factory irregulars?
  12. Interesting.. I bought mine from Inline Tube as well. Do you know what size your bleeder screws are? I will say this, I bought a set of bleeder screws from Inline Tube and they were too small. Had they fit the bleeder caps wouldn't have fit either.
  13. Actually after I got all of the rust off I sprayed them with ceramic cast iron color paint.
  14. Yes I bought new pistons and the seal kit. It literally cost me like $13 per caliper for parts.
  15. Here's a few pics showing one of my calipers after I took it apart and rebuilt it.
  16. Hey guys what size is the front disc bleeder screw? I had ordered some and they are too small... Also does the SS have larger front calipers than a small block car?
  17. How do you like the Ultra Flows? How do they sound? I am actually considering them as well.
  18. Does anybody have these? If so do they hang down low? I also noticed that Flowmaster also has complete A body exhaust kits (2.5 or3".) I'm just doing research at this point for my SS. Here is a header link. https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/headers_and_exhaust_manifolds/long_tube/parts/814111 Exhaust: https://www.holley.com/products/exhaust/exhaust_systems/flowmaster/american_thunder/parts/17200
  19. On the factory assembly manual it shows the lines going around the back of the frame and then coming together with connectors. That is what I'm trying to figure out.
  20. Hey guys does anyone carry a reproduction factory air line kit that includes all of the couplings and clips? The couplings that are on the rear frame rail as shown on the factory assembly manual are missing on my car. I'd sure appreciate a picture of what the assembly looks like from the rear shocks to the lines that connect both shocks in the rear inner rear frame.
  21. Sorry to hear about that Rob.. I'm hoping that you will find another one soon.
  22. Welcome Ron! Nice car. Let's hear the story. 😎
  23. Welcome Leni! Glad that you are doing well. Hang in there! Can we see some pictures of your car?
