  1. Here's the RPO codes for that ATS. Wasn't a bad vehicle, had a turbo 4 cylinder though. Looks like owner had it serviced at dealer regularly, no major issues except a radio replacement and a few field action recalls. Initial delivery to Crestmont Cadillac, Beechwood, Ohio I'll start gathering schematics and electrical connector views in a couple days.
  2. That's great Dennis! Thank you for updating us on your project, and as you already know, we like pictures, so keep them coming as you progress thru the journey. Thank you as well with becoming a full member, we certainly appreciate your support. Also, as you already know, don't hesitate to ask questions or reach out behind the scenes, we're here to help. 3. Looks like your boy from Carlisle last year...
  4. Apparently Dennis' kids were at the Denver arena the other night, against the Buffalo Bandits lacrosse team. Bandits won, last home game this coming Saturday.
  5. I noticed that. You're very punny today.
  6. Ok, 'Lucy' 🤣 The car is stuck in collision shop he!! On a side note, looks like GM is doing some type of website maintenance this weekend. Can't get into the site to do any research.
  7. He's been hearing that for a lot of days though. Sort of like Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the football...
  8. We have one hotel room left at Carlisle, according to Rob. Sounds like a win/win situation!
  9. I was sort of thinking something along those lines. If someone has one and brings it to Carlisle, it would save the shipping costs and possible damage.
  10. I was looking into it a few years back, so I could cut a hole for a DIN sized stereo unit & not chop up my OEM dash. Most of the reviews I saw weren't too good as far as fit, so I ended up getting a different stereo that fit in the original dash. I figured, for the money they were asking, it wasn't worth the drama. I ended up getting an old, OEM dash from a member here (Willie), that was just perfect for what I need, if I decide to replace the radio down the road.
  11. The VIN will be all I need to decipher what options the car came with, and narrow down schematics based on that. Give me a few days.
  12. Just heard about it, 4.8 they said?
  13. Geez, it's coming fast... as I look out the window and see the snow falling 😔.
  14. You can't simply mix R12 and R134a refrigerant. So, don't add refrigerant without knowing what is in the system, or if it has been converted. There are refrigerant identification analyzers out there, but they're very expensive. About as expensive as replacing your entire A/C system because you didn't service it properly. Besides the fact the refrigerants have different chemical properties, the lubricants are entirely different and could also lead to destruction and expensive repairs. Here's some info, straight from a refrigerant manufacturer. Look at the parts regarding compatibility of refrigerants, lubricants, and seal materials. Doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture. https://www.general-refrigeration.gr/images/eshop/catalog/products/0454/files/R134a information.pdf
  15. Perhaps a 'No Car' surcharge should be on the table for consideration 🤔. Make it higher than the 'Number of Modifications' cost....hmmmm. I like it!
  16. Tough to say, especially if they didn't leave a 'conversion sticker' someplace. Check the high and low gauge access points, do they have adapters put on there to accept R134A connections? That would be my first place to look. Next would be if the POA valve was replaced with a cycling switch maybe.
  17. Holy crap, it's gonna be a costly year....
  18. That's a very good choice Dale. I'll PM you my phone number, there's plenty more info that may help you, especially if you're doing it yourself.
  19. White letter tires too...makes it 8-10 modifications potentially.
  20. Speedos, not thongs....
  21. Or a paper clip, according to a lot of sources.
  22. I had a few of those style starters (Power Master & NAPA). It's not easy, but entirely possible to pop that gear out, hold it in place, and measure the gap. There is a simpler way that I used, but not for everyone I imagine.... At any rate, I ended up sending them all back. First, I couldn't get them to 'clock' properly for header clearance, and second, I forget the exact amount, but had to remove something like .030 from the mounting surface on one of them for it to fit properly. Sent it back as defective, the replacement was just as bad. A big waste of time on that style starter, at least in my case.
  23. 80's....ahhhh, that would explain the man-bun then...
