  1. Chicken French with Parsley potatoes & carrots. I should put this in the FGMCC cookbook, it's one of my favorite meals! All in honor of my new favorite Italian, St. Patrick 😁 - dip the chicken in a seasoned flour, soak it in a mix of scrambled eggs, parm cheese, garlic, parsley, then pan fry it in olive oil/minced onion & garlic. - fresh squeeze 5 lemons, add a dash of white wine & about 3/4 stick of butter, put in frying pan on high heat to reduce it for a few minutes, then soak chicken in the mix, constantly turning over. Potato's are loaded with onion, garlic, butter, parsley & some salt. Tasty!
  2. Nah, won't work here either. Is it an attachment, or a link to a website Doug? It just wants to process it as an image, and when copying the link over to a browser page, it just chokes.
  3. Doesn't mean he wasn't of Italian descent... https://www.northjersey.com/story/life/columnists/bill-ervolino/2018/03/12/st-patricks-day-who-st-patrick-he-italian/415902002/ https://www.irishcentral.com/opinion/others/italians-reclaim-st-patricks-day
  4. One of my friends posted this on Facebook this morning. Not sure if its true 😂
  5. It will slide fore & aft a bit, but in my case that seems to be a good spot. As mentioned above, too far forward would maybe stick out/up too much. I'm not sure how deep it goes in the rear 'Z' piece, but both sides of the car are setup the same distance from the W/S trim.
  6. Here's the info I got from my original invoice Mark. Price was from 10-2019. Part# Part Description Status Qty $ Each A132Z 68-72 CORRECT MOLDED SEAT PIPING OR 1 $89.00 A quick search & cut/paste found the link to their site for the piping: https://www.amesperf.com/parts/35140/ They also list a set with 'Caps', but no picture. I'm guessing it's the tips? Based on the construction of the molded trim piece in my car, I wouldn't have ordered that anyways. It seems to make a nice transition as-is & shown above. https://www.amesperf.com/parts/37007/ And finally, they do have a set for 'Chevelle', but it only has the two back pieces. For the 'low scale', Chevy cheapo cars (or GM 'crap-boxes' as Mark Worman would say...j/k, obviously) https://www.amesperf.com/parts/56900/
  7. On mine, the more 'square-ish' part is at the back, and it is on the outboard side of the driver seat. I don't have one for the inboard side. The pic I have is from the front, pointing towards the center of the car.
  8. Here's what I put on my 72. The trim came from Ames Pontiac Performance. It was thicker and matched what was originally there. Initially, I picked up a set from Legendary Interiors. It was too thin, so I replaced it with this. If someone wants it cheap though, I'll bring it to Carlisle. The molded 'tips' on the seat where the silver trim seems to abut is just about the same size. I didn't have the end caps, nor did it come with the Legendary or Ames trim. I imagine I could use the Chrome Paint pen to coat the 'tips', but that's not even on the list of things to do right now.
  9. I thought you were talking about the halo trim, and how it sits across the front. Here's mine. Can't go much more forward than that, or it'll be sticking out/up too much. There's a natural bend/curve in the trim that matches the curve of the roof line too. It appears to sit just right on what I have.
  10. I'll be of no help then, because my 72 vinyl goes the full way & tucks under the W/S trim.
  11. I must have misunderstood too. When my bumpers & some parts came out of the tank, there was a brownish residue on the outside surface. They simply used some type of polishing rouge and a big wheel & it shined right up (I was there when the owner did it). The inside of yours looks like flakes of rust possibly?
  12. Be careful out there and thanks for your public service CK.
  13. I've seen that on bumpers that come out of the tanks. Try buffing it off.
  14. You're just working your butt off lately, lol. Good job!
  15. Yeah, I was being hopeful and optimistic...it doesn't happen often, lol
  16. If you order it now, you may get it in time to put on the door prize table in Carlisle. You could always have them drop ship it there too, I suppose 😁.
  17. That's what I did when I installed mine.
  18. Are you volunteering to donate one, how incredibly generous of you! 😄
  19. He has logged in multiple times since the initial post. Same with the other person that Glen suggested become a full member. Both long term non-members with a long history of posting, usually asking for help with something.
  20. Very well said Glen, (and Mark). I belong to other forums where a common answer is "Use the Search function, already been asked and answered".
  21. We talked about that Cody. He wanted to do the least amount of wiring mods possible, and since the original heater fused circuit was going to be available anyways, that's the path that seemed to work out well.
  22. It was great to talk to you again Bryan! Another problem solved from the "Hot Tub" office 😁. Can't wait to see you at Carlisle, this will not be an event to miss!
  23. I don't exactly 'like' lifting by the balancer either, and prefer the oil pan. Still, if removing the pan gasket for a job, there's not too many options if working on a lift. I just woke up from my first nap of the day, and was thinking about the distributor clearance. Certain cars are really tight in that area, so it's something to watch for. Also, keep an eye out for fuel line stretch, and anything else attached to the engine.
