  1. Thanks, It sounds like you've had a bad deal with SEM. The SEM mixers down here are auto/body suppliers and they've done alot of mixing for the local car clubs; their paints are usually spot on for a complete interior resto. I'd like to get the right code and go from there. I can find several sites with all of the Chevelle codes, which should be very close, but I want to be sure. If you, or anyone else may know where to find the interior paint codes, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again.
  2. I'M RESTORING A 1970 MONTE AND THE DOOR AND TRUNK STICKER IS MISSING. THE EXTERIOR PAINT IS 28/ FATHOM BLUE AND THE INTERIOR IS A SORT OF MEDIUM TO DARK BLUE. I'VE CONTACTED SEM TO GET THE RIGHT PAINT BUT I CAN'T FIND THE RIGHT CODE SO THEY CAN MIX THE PAINT, CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THE INTERIOR PAINT CODE?
  3. Thanks guys! It looks like SEM is the way to go. I'll check around here and see if i can match the color. My son's 70 is a work in progress so I'll see if I can post some shots later. I have a 72 Monte myself and it's mostly done except for redoing the MAACO paint job that's on it where the previous owner painted it. Again, I appreciate the help!
  4. Hey guys and gals, new member! Ive found some replacement interior parts (dash, dash pad, and other pieces) for my son's 1970 Monte Carlo, the problem is that his interior is blue and just about everything I've found is black. What is the very best paint to use when changing the color of these items to his original blue? All help is appreciated. We really want a professional look and the pieces to match the rest of his original interior.
