  1. Yep...that's it...it's a 1 inch hole. Thank you for your help!
  2. That would be great...let me know! - Jon
  3. Yes, but the wire had been cut and the plug and bulb socket are missing. I'm buying a new socket, but need the plug and was wondering if it could be bought separately.
  4. HI there...does anyone know where I can find the wiring plug that secures on the way down to the front markers?
  5. Correct...the car was my Dad's and it was originally a 350 manual 3 on the tree...when my parents gave it to my brother to drive in high school he converted it to an automatic and put a 350 Blazer engine in it. I also drove the car in high school and first year of college, then we sold it in 92'. The car was long gone, but I got a wild idea in 2013 to try and find it (because my Dad was sick) and tracked it down (it was still in AZ) and convinced the owner to sell it back to me (with extra $$). Wish it was still manual and OG engine, but I count my lucky stars that I was able to get it back. Here are a couple of recent pixs + one of the day I picked it up in AZ and was able to give my Dad one last spin around the block in it...it's come a long way for sure. Now I just buttoning up all the details.
  6. I have a few wiring mysteries I'm hoping someone can help me with. Attached are a few photos...these are all either grounds that are not hooked up, wires that are cut or plugs not plugged in. Aside from a leak in the transmission pan the car is running great. One note is the A/C is not operating and the A/C compressor has been removed by a previous owner, so not sure if any of these are connected to that. Thank you!
  7. Thank you for the recommendations...I'll def check these options out.
  8. Hi- I'm trying to find the best quality/look for trim rings and derby caps for my 72' and looking for info/recommendations. My issue on the trim rings is I have 15x7 in the front and 15x8 in the rear and see sets of 4 sold with only one of those sizes. OPGI has a 15x7/15x8 combo set, but they have no ETA on when they'll be available. I also see the rings offered in "square lip" and "round lip"...does one look better than the other? As for Derby Caps...I have reproduction rally's from wheel vintiques and want to make sure the caps will stay on (I've seen complaints about them not fitting). Any info/recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jon
  9. Hi Joe...I actually pulled that photo online from a company called Konik's Klassiks (https://koniksklassiks.com/), they sell some MC restored trim. My actual pieces do look as good as the photo or better, but I took mine to Norm at Shine On Me http://shineonmetrim.com/info/contact_info.php (I live in Carlsbad, CA and he's up the road in San Clemente). He did my stainless steel that goes around the windshield and rear window and his work is amazing. He does work for guys sending in stuff from all over the USA. If you call him tell him Jon Prasuhn with the 72 Monte Carlo referred you.
  10. Does anyone know where I can find the clips/fasteners for the rear trim that goes below the trunk lid and above the bumper (see attached)? Thank you...any info is much appreciated. - Jon
  11. Hi there...I'm getting ready to install new 4x6 speakers in the dash (Kickers) and was wondering if there are any videos/info anyone has seen on how to modify the mounting process so they fit on the factory brackets. Thank you! - Jon
