  1. It’s June in 2022 and I began the overhaul of this beast , had to remove front end loader of course. Got the engine repair done over a year ago but didn’t reinstall loaded. Wanted to test engine for awhile..

anyway, decided engine ok so began reinstalling loaded this week after work, of course after 2 years it didn’t work. :(.. Had to call fo help on this one… the guy shows up Friday midday and didn’t finish till yesterday!. Drank all my cold beverages too!. I wanted to mow grass but he Insisted I stand and watch , geez.. these Sears repairmen are bossy.. He finally figured out the problem and got the loader back on, then, he even mowed my grass , yea…  but I sure was tired even tho he did all the work. Bad thing was , no cold ones left for me :(… Cheers 🍻 Happy fix it day.. IMG_2826.thumb.jpeg.7b3c3f09af057301d0cf2a61feeaf63f.jpeg

Yes sir, that’s PGA endorsed turf.  I had that installed after I brought the work dog home because I got tired of repairing the grass every spring with 2 dogs destroying it over the winter.  No more muddy paws coming into the house either.

It installs over crushed lime stone/sand just like pavers and has drainage holes.  Both dogs do their business on it and it cleans up just like grass (easier actually as it’s relatively short), however it somewhat holds odor so I hit it with a deodorizer/neutralizer every so often.

Trying to get tiger 🐅 woods to pay a visit huh? 🤔 😂

  5. Well said Joe!!!. There’s a multitude of variables… my 71 has original style compressor but has been converted to R134 , And does well.. did not replace hoses so I  have to keep tabs on Freon pressure about once a year.. much better than trying to find R 12 here tho…

  6. One of the best cars I ever owned, after driving a 68 falcon, 67 vw bug, and a 62 dodge dart, this car was like driving a dream car . Even tho I prefer the first generation now, I alway liked the 4 headlight system.. IMG_2614.thumb.jpeg.51296235f14c26f7ad7a559804f0f8d8.jpegsomeone has an 77 and brought it to the 2022 Carlisle meet. Was in excellent condition.. 77 was my favorite second gen… Monte…

I was wondering that too, I guess sometimes glasses are more important 🤔 maybe California is it owne country now wouldn't that be nice. Just like they are talking about making NY city it's own state that would be great for the rest of the state but we'll keep long Island though. But the city would probably go broke in a month or so without upstate money flowing in. Oh well we can only dream about that. But yes this is going to be a great meet for sure.

They’re  already broke … and California:(…hopefully Ronnie from calif decides to stay here come June. :)…they would be most welcome…

  10. Caps and trim are plastic. The monties have the lip necessary to hold the trim on without the need for glue. The monties also have an end cap slot and lip to slide the cap on. Kinda like the end cap should have been there but wasn’t..
