Wow! Found this great deal on a new clock for my Monte... at the suggestion of one of my well know club members.. so,, I looked it up and was this great price ! Wasn’t eBay , ordered it cause it really looked good .. ordered it on April 1st.. received it today.. strange , it didn’t look that big on line... can’t seem to get it to fit in the dash 😩.. guess I could just hang it on the wall in the garage till I figure it out where it goes .... thanks Rob 🤣...

I remember reading about this several years ago and put the strips on mine when I was rebuilding the 71. They went towards the rear and maybe one up front... but I can’t even recall where I seen it now... mine were green and orange... no car show ever looked because they didn’t know anything about it .. but I knew they were there...

Ok I ordered the hose straps from eBay, as mentioned before, they were too long, so I cut it into about an inch back from the female end, melted the two pieces back together which made it shorter. Took a couple tries to get the right length but it worked real well, after snapping the two pieces together I still had enough slack for hose expansion.. and it fit down in the fan shroud perfectly..

Been looking for something to use on mine too. Using a Velcro narrow strap now. Going to order the eBay ones . I think I can work with the length. If not I’ll try the amazon ones. Just like the look of the ones on eBay more..

Sorry to hear about the bad weather. 😞. To day in Ky it’s. 72 at the moment but that isn’t good for this time of year either. Usually means bad winds , damaging storms , and then back to cold weather. Hate the ice!!!
