Beldon speed sells the proper screws. -
Don’t feel bad Willie, Karen drives a Subaru. And before you guys start , she is NOT a multi colored flag person. lol.
-
Yes but don’t tell anyone
-
Totally makes sense now. I have seen the error of my ways. My apologies Bob. If I did things to my 71 I would go back to my restoration thread also.
-
Thanks Willie, now I feel bad. Maybe that’s the swift kick in the rump I need to actually do something with this thing.
-
They look good. But I have to ask, just out of curiosity, why are you posting this in the archive section and on a nine year old post. Wouldn’t you be best suited to put this in the current restoration section? Like I said just curious.
-
I’ve not seen this type before. Could look good and be tinfoil. We’re gonna find out.

Not gonna happen. lol. Joe and I had a CONVERSATION today and we were discussing lazy. He fell asleep and I got nothing done. So again, not gonna happen. lol. I’m still shooting for 27 though. lol. 😂

Yes I did. But that’s ok. Scott is now on the payback list. lol. ( don’t worry Scott it doesn’t take alot of my time 😂).

Most everyone knows what I do for my job. Believe it or not this is not an uncommon thing. A guy tried to warranty a battery because the terminal was crushed into the case. He told the dealer the cable wouldn’t fit so he was hitting it with a hammer to get it on. The plastic cover was still on the terminal. Some people.

It’s very important to all of us. Nobody wants a vin issue. Especially when purchasing a car. Verifying documentation is not easy with the technology out there to create fraudulent paperwork. Due diligence is key and ask people that knows a lot of questions.

Me being a resto guy, I’ll bet you know what I use. lol.

A few years on my 71. Still perfect.

Welcome to the club. That’s one heck of a setup. Send us some pictures. We love pictures.

I’m not that close to retirement, even though my body says differently. I do know that my time is coming. I just don’t want to face that reality yet.
-
I had a 77 back in my teens. Loved the ride of that boat.

I liken it to the medical profession. The dr. prescribes medication for an issue, but that medication creates side effects so they prescribe another medication. Next thing you know you have the medication box with the days of the week and all the slots are full.

I agree. I’ve never been a fan of using additives in anything. Just use the product that’s was designed for that specific purpose. My opinion but I’ve always thought that additives were like an easy way out.
