  1. Great advice , Thanks guys ! Now I have a good idea how to make one. I probably won't get to it until next year though. Btw did you lay down the jute insulation underneath ?
  2. I have raplaced my package tray two times with the standard mesh tray with speaker cutouts that is available through many vendors. Mine is black so the cheap cardboard backing buckles from the sun beating on it for a few hours. I was hoping to find a replacement that was made out of something that wouldn't warp , but the only other thing I've found is fiberboard which probably wouldn't be much better. Bottom line , I guess I'm going to have to make one. I was thinking of using Luan plywood or Masonite , then covering it with Black vinyl. Any suggestions would be greatly appreaciated, thanks.
  3. I've been searching for aftermarket Rally wheels to replace the original ones that have seen their better days. All of the aftermarket wheels I've found have bore diameters larger than the hub dia. of 2.78 . None of the wheels are hub centric because the center hole is stamped , not machined . None of the wheels are compatible with hub centric rings and even if they were , I haven't found any that are the correct size. All of the wheel manufactures use different size center bores . This all means that you have to find a tire shop that has a lug centric adaptor. Most shops have either never heard of this or if they have , they haveen't used it in 25 years ! The first shop I went to ruined a set of Wheel Vintiques wheels by just slamming the lug nuts on with an air wrench without centering the wheel first. I can't possibly be the only one that has ever experienced this. Any suggestions ? Thanks
  4. Rob,

Hi, it's new member Dan again, yes I will be at The Carlisle show in a couple of weeks with a friend of mine ! I don't plan on bringing the Monte though. I don't think I would trust it just yet on a trip 4 1/2 hrs. from home. Besides it's one of the few Monte's I've seen that doesn't have AC. With my luck it'll be in the 90's that weekend. Hope to see you there ! and yes I probably will become a dues paying member .

    Dan,

      Dan,

If you wish you can pay your dues at the Eastern Meet.  Just look me up and I can handle that for you.  Do you know when you will be arriving?  I look forward to meeting you.

      Rob
