It was 10 years ago I bought my 1972 Monte Carlo.It is my baby,gets taken care of very well by me only.For me,I have always loved the 1970 to 1972 Monte Carlo body style the best.I was not looking for one at the time,had a tough time looking for the right one.Most I looked at needed lot of work.It took me at least 4 years to find the right one.Then one day,I watched a Martina McBride music video,Wrong Baby Wrong music video and noticed it was a 1972 Monte Carlo in the video.Then after that the looking started again with better luck.Seen an ad for cars in a car collection for sale,owner was selling them and a red 1972 Monte Carlo was in the collection for sale.Called the guy,told him to hold on to it for me and told him I was coming down the next day.Came down and we met up,he had it cleaned up good.Finally told me he bought it from a family in 2005 and had it restored.It was restored right too,driver's side quarter panel was replaced,was in a minor accident at one time.I was impressed and he saw the look on my face saying I wanted to test drive it.Did and loved how it drove,drove good never pulling when I took my hands off the steering wheel.Right away,knew my search was done and discussed numbers.Told him I have cash and the price was good and we agreed on it.He had a transport place haul it to my place on him.I still love it and my oldest daughter loves it too.Knows she is getting it on the day I go.This is the music video I watched and inspired me to get one and I was going through a break up from an ex boyfriend too,
