Welcome Adam. Iāll Zelle or Venmo you $20 if you leave an Upper Decker next time youāre at Dennisās house.
-
I asked him to keep me in mind for the components needed to assemble the whole system. If I donāt hear anything from him in a reasonable amount of time, Iāll send him another message and make the inquiry regarding him making them.

The gentleman responded to me already. I mentioned what Rob told me regarding the Monte lenses only having two bubbles, whereas other GM vehicles having three. hereās what he had to sayā¦
-
I forgot that I found this guy a while back, I just sent him an email through eBay asking if he reproduces the correct ones for our Montes. Iāll advise once I get a response. Heās got green and white listed for āCamaroā, but itās still appears to have a total of three bubbles on the lense. https://www.ebay.com/itm/385558824474

Count me in on the wishlist. If someone DOES (re)make the correct lense, Iād consider buying the new incorrect re-popped sentrys and swap lenses.

Not A Single First Generation Monteā¦

Oh yeah. Huge money cars. We were playing āpick any 3 youād take home if you were richā and it was almost impossible to narrow it down. Donald E. Stevenās Center in Rosemont. Highly recommend getting there when it comes around again. -
Went to the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals todayā¦ ā¦ not a single First Gen in the sea of at least 600 cars. Therefore no pix will accompany this comment. But a great show nonetheless.

Welcome!!! Car looks and sounds awesome.

Horrible news. Sorry for your loss and condolences to your entire family. May the miserable [censored] who took your loved one suffer a worse fate.

Not a bad looking hood scoop on this 72

Just my two centsā¦ the white wall makes it look too much like a target. Too many āringsāā¦ white wall, black side wall, chrome, trim ring, black wheel and center cap. A black sidewall tire would break it up nicely. Even raised white lettering would probably look better than the white walls.

Would have never noticed had I not read your post. My ā70 did NOT have them from the factory. The ones I bought (from OPGI, if memory serves me correctly) when I redid the interior have the trim. Before and after pixā¦

Took advantage of the mild temps to get the ā70 tucked away for the winter. Similar weather predicted for tomorrow, so itāll be the ā71s turn. Summer went wayyyyy too fastā¦ again. Letās see if the pix load sequentiallyā¦

Can you do me a favor? Keep buying cars until you get one with the Vigilite fiber optic system I need for my ā70.

Welcome, Mark! Car is sharp!

Yesā¦ as told to me by Bob, it was shredded beyond reconstruction. One I have was from under the carpet, front passenger floorboard. This one unfortunately, is hard to read as it was soaked with coolant as a result of a leaky heater core at some point in its lifetime. You have to hit it with a flashlight to read it, but itās there. Donāt remember where Bob said the second one I have for the ā71 was located, but itās in good shape. Happy hunting and please report back with your findings.

I see what ya did thereā¦

See??? This right here ā¬ļø. THIS is progress. This is Couples Therapy bearing fruit. Only I believe the Doc said your āassessmentsā need to stay in the session and out of public forums. Itās with great anticipation that I look forward to the remaining 29 sessions tentatively scheduled. And all this time I thought Joe was just the instigator in the periphery. The jerk throwing fuel on the fire. Turns out he DOES have a conscience and perhaps a portion of a heart, otherwise he wouldnāt have assumed the role of interventionist. The healing continues š¤ā¦

The very first session was a breakthrough success. HIPAA constraints prohibit me from disclosing particulars, but in order for me to better understand Dennisās deep-rooted deficiencies while continuing strides towards recovery, Iām compelled to share that a culmination of banana-related hijinks at the hands of his FGMCC brethren has been identified as the main contributing factor. It seems Dennis is the victim of classic āCBSā - Chronic Bullying Syndrome. I hope youāre all happy with what youāve done to my buddy.

Funny you mention this, Rob. I also received an email expressing concern over this thread. Being naturally suspicious, I ācalled in a favorā with the fellas at the Cybercrime Unit. Seems the IP address associated with the originating server belongs to a āTennis Dretterā. Things that make you go š¤š¤š¤
