  1. The bracket that holds the cable looks to high. It needs to be on the same level as the bolt on the accelerator linkage. Otherwise it binds.
  2. And to think 50 years ago most of our Montes were subjigated to winter driving.
  3. Was only ever there once about 10-12 years ago...... Training courses in Mississauga. Way to much traffic !!!! And I'm pretty sure Montelishi's enjoying the "low salt" diet out here.
  4. Montelishi spent a good deal of her life in Ontario..... But she seems to like the open spaces out here in the west. She's a little more rare and unique around here, and I think she likes the attention.
  5. Hope they have what you're looking for...... There's just so many things at a NAPA store I'd like to drag home. lol
  6. I like the green '71 with the white vinyl top...... Nice contrast.
  7. That'd be a really loooong drive.
  8. Hi John, I had similar issues finding the right sender for my '70 as well. The first sender i had was an "idiot light" unit that reacted the same was. It took a couple tries... Apparently the quality of sending units has really declined... But I found one made by Dorman that works good. Best of luck in your search, Scott.
  9. Amazon Prime usually covers a lot of those fees.... And list the items in CDN $.
  10. Yeah.... You are probably right. I'd have to check my past conversations.
  11. Haven't seen any of your posts lately..... Still sorting through your parts warehouse ?
  12. OH YEAH !!!!! Hey Jared, welcome to the group. Scott.
  13. With the taxes, duties, dollar difference, and shipping, sometimes Ebay's prices are reasonable.
  14. I believe these kits (AMK) are available on Ebay as well...
  15. Dance like no one's watching....
  16. Camaros are like the girls you'd NEVER take home to meet Mom........ Dad maybe, but NEVER Mom.
  17. All Camaros are nasty...... Montes are CLASSY.
  18. As Dennis said, which way are you planning to go ? If you're going original, and adding the console, etc, it's quite a few steps. But if "modified" is your choice, just about anything can be made to work. Just remember..... Test fitting a couple times before making any modifications is ALWAYS the best way. I read an article a few years ago that Acura seats were an easy fit if you go with the factory console and are looking for a comfortable bucket. Welcome to the circus.
  19. That's a lot of seats..... Planning on opening a movie theater ? lol
  20. Could the a/f be coming from a leaky heater core ? A quick pressure test on the cooling system should show something. As for the trans fluid, which seems to be a lot, does it originate at the inspection pan ? If so, Blake350's nailed it's cause.
  21. I'm not sure.... My thinking is that it could work, but probably best to get a wire guy to say for sure.
  22. Thought I'd send you a couple pics of newer versions..... Just 'cuz.
