Hello All. Just wanted to do a quick intro and post a few pictures. New member to the group from Martinsville, Indiana (just south of Indy)
1970, 402, factory 4spd numbers matching with 71k miles. My dad who is also a member Doug, purchased this car in 1974. As a kid growing up this sat in our driveway, covered up waiting to be restored. I believe the restoration started in the late 90’s or early 2000’s and took quite a few years. The color is the mist green with a gold pearl in it just to make it a little more unique.
At the beginning of 2021 my dad was diagnosed with cancer and he has been fighting he way through everything, everyday. He is unable to enjoy and take care of it so I will continue to keep it shining. My girls enjoy picking up papaw and taking him for a ride or along to a local show.
I am sure I will have some questions along the way so i figured this would be a good place to turn to.
