Howdy! Hope all are well i bought my 70 Monte 6 yrs ago. It ran & drove fine. One owner. sat outside for a few years & had a leak under rear window with boxes of car magazines in trunk. So inside rusted out pretty bad. anyway, I’ve been hard at work over the years & we are just out of paint & beginning reassembly. this is my first ever restoration so I learned as a went. Definitely would do things in a different order if I did it over. I look forward to getting to know y’all & your Monte’s

Anyone see these new or used for sale anywhere? these are the metal channels that hold roof rail weatherstrip inside door frame. See yellow highlights on pic (One pic is of Chevelle ad for same) I’ve been looking for a year!

When I installed a sniper I understood the original air cleaner cannot be used with a sniper. I don’t recall why. But I did have to have vented tank. I achieved that with a venting gas cap. sorry if that doesn’t help

I put a passenger side mirror on my 70. I really thought about it for a long time but decided I wanted the thing for safety’s sake.

I installed a Sniper on my small block Like others said, it’s pretty easy. love being able to depend on it starting. Red plug wires were only ones I had in the shop. I replaced them later
