I’m the proud owner of this 51k mile 70 Monte Carlo. Originally Misty Turquoise, the car has been owned by a couple since 2006 and has slowly gone through restoration. It’ has a mechanically sound Small Block 400 Auto with the original cloth interior. The top has been replaced.
Plans are to restore it back to its original glory in Misty Turquoise.
Aside from bodywork and paint, the things that I know will need to be addressed, if anyone has resources for this, please share.
Originally a factory air car, the previous owner removed the compressor and brackets, I’ll want to get those back in place. The rest of the plumbing is there.
The blower motor only blows in speed 2 & 3.
the AM radio is there but there’s no power. My thoughts are to leave the stock radio and put a Bluetooth Receiver, amp and new speakers in the tray if anyone has suggestions for this, please let me know.
I have the original 2bbl carb, it has a Quadrajet in it now. Apparently the 2 bbl had a leak so the previous owner threw the 4 on.
it doesn’t have the original air cleaner on it. Where is that available?
Theundercarriage will need attention.
