Exciting.Ashley and I have been good friends for 30 years.A lot of good memories since we met at 13 years old.That transmission problem,we are allies with a transmission repair shop and told me it was the dexron 6 causing the shudders.Told me change the fluid to the Mobil 1 lv hp blue label atf.

Good news at work and fixed a problem with my truck.First my friend Ashley and I were called in by her dad which we work for.He is retiring next year and turned down a buyout.He knows us well,we work together at the auto repair shop he owns.Decided he knew we would run it very well and good to the customers and our co workers.Ashley and I were pick to own it.Going to happen in June of next year.Finally got my truck in,a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 4x4.Started having a torque converter shudder last week.Did not have much to do,did a fluid change in the transmission which fixed it.Used the Mobil 1 hp lv atf flushing the cooler and lines good first.Changed the filter as well taking the pan off.Her dad was cool about it.

Have a set of Trickflow heads,Lunati cam and lifters on order.All started with a cylinder misfire on #2,a friend of mine said possibly a bad lifter.He works at a GM dealership,heard lifter noise.Compression test was done,low on compression

Pulled the engine out of my 1971.Doing it due I want to do a few upgrades to the 6.2 out of a 2014 Camaro I put in it.Have a set of heads,cam and lifters coming.Luckily I did my research,want some more top end power.It was better off taking the engine out due to the heads have to be pulled to take the lifters out.Also upgrading the headbolts to ARP.Have not tore it down,waiting for the parts to come first

Danielle is hoping we become her parents that love her.I have helped her through her journey since we met.Plus my Aunt Renee is proud of us stepping up and taking in Danielle in.She is a good kid,does good in school and hangs around good friends whom Jon and I have met

My fiance Jon and I are talking doing something,adopting a 14 year old girl.Her name is Danielle and she came from a rough life like me,mom was a drug addict.I know her very well including my fiance.I told her I went through it too as a kid with parents being drug and alcohol addicts.A church member I know whom is a foster mom is her foster mom.Plus Danielle and I have a few things in common,a proud redhead and she likes to get her hands dirty wrenching on things.We see her social worker next week Monday on adopting her.

I am the same way,I am a proud Army mom.My oldest son whom is 27 is in the army.He decided to do this with my support,wanted to do something in his life.Anyway,congrats to him

Feeling better and follow up went well

I did and no regrets.Anything up to the weight of a milk jug I can pick up

I am 43 years old turn 44 next month,will see this happen.I am doing light jobs right now,no heavy work for 6 weeks and 4 weeks left of this

It was a wise decision for me.My mom,younger brother,friends,oldest son,daughter and youngest son have been there for support.My fiance,he has been in my life for 3 years and a keeper.My Aunt Renee is an ovarian cancer survivor,hers was caught early and decided on the hysterectomy too.Now my daughter whom is 19 has decided to get tested for this,said wise decision to her.Later on in her life,she can make the decision to have this done.

Been recovering lately,hysterectomy done 2 weeks ago and following doctor's order.Did it for preventive reasons.I decided to get tested if I had the ovarian cancer gene last month and I have it.It was not an easy decision and took my time to make this decision.So far healing well and have my support system.One is my fiance,he was there for support on the day I had it.He knows I am one tough lady.Has been there during my recovery too.Go in for my follow up on Tuesday

About my past,Mine was rough at first.I grew up with parents that were drug and alcohol addicts.Lived in an apartment in very bad living conditions with them and my younger brother.My brother and I were in bad shape.Had second hand clothes,hair was horrible and had a little to eat.My brother and I have one person to thank,our Aunt Renee.When I was 13,she rescued us and introduced us to good people that helped us out.Came over one night and called the police.Both parents were arrested.She even took us to her place where we both took a shower there.Saw we did not have anything to eat too.She got some left over macaroni and cheese out and heated it up for us.Introduced us to good people at the church she goes to.One is a hair stylist and she did my hair on her.I loved it.My brother was taken to a barber to get his hair cut by another member.This was the start.Other members took us clothes and shoe shopping too.Another member got my ears pierced for the first time.I credit one,he got to know us and found out I loved to see how things worked.Took me to his place,we worked on anything from lawnmowers to tractors.He inspired me to be an auto mechanic.I am still a member of this church,I have inspired kids that went through what my brother and I went through.Good thing is the apartment we lived in is no longer there.A contractor had it demolished and put in new apartments up to code.My brother is a pastor at another church married to a great wife which he has 3 sons with her.Me,a mom of 3 having a 27 year old son whom is in the Army,a 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son.They heard our story and learned people can go through bad lives getting out of it.
