  1. I replaced the HVAC controller in the dash with new after a mechanic told me that was the problem. It wasn't, the air doesn't redirect from the floor to defrost or dash vents when adjusting controls. I did find that when the carburator and intake were replaced with a Holley Sniper EFI the vacuum line to the controller wasn't hooked up. I hooked it up and tested the check valve on the firewall. It still doen't rediredt air. The Hot/Cold slider does work, the fan switch is new and works. My thought now is look at what the HVAC controllers vacuum portion is connected to. This is where I need help with a vacuum schematic or shop manual notes. Help...it's even HOT in North Dakota.
  2. nevermind, I thought I was posting something helpful, but I just needed to look further down the posts.
  3. Love the color of your '71. Beautiful car. Welcome to the club.
  4. Here are more pictures. We went to many cruise nights last summer in Moorhead Mn, West Fargo ND, and Mayville ND. I enjoy time at the lake in Minnesota on the pontoon boat.
  5. New here to FGMCC, although used your resources since I purchased my 72 in December of 2021. These pictures are on the trailer in Indiana. Thanks to Aaron Dodsworth for reposting marketplace ads. If any of you watch 'Rides wit Jay Thomas' on one of 113 Gray Media TV stations across the country, This car was featured in a segment two weekends ago. It can be searched on Youtube also. This is my 2nd Monte, the first was a 71 purchased in 1980 and used as a daily driver while traveling to Three years of Tech School. Always regretted selling it, but back then it was just wheels.
