  1. Thank you for the quick response! We wondered if it had to do with fuel but we weren't sure if it went all the way to the tank or not. I appreciate it! I knew I'd get someone knowledgeable to answer it for me, lol. Did they ever have it on any other vehicles, because I've never seen it on anything before.
  2. I removed the rear seat yesterday and I found this bolted to the body behind the backrest. It has some sort of foam gasket on the bottom side and it's completely sealed up. Didn't know if it's some sort of noise dampener or resonator for something. Maybe from an old TSB for droning or body rattling? Anyway, I was just curious if anyone knows. I'm sure it's been asked here before but couldn't come up with anything on search. Maybe I wasn't looking at the right locations...anyway, here it is.
  3. Thanks, that's what I figured but haven't gotten into it yet.
  4. Non tilt, column shift. On these, is there a plug at the steering wheel end or do the wires go all the way down the column and then plug in?
  5. Alright, so I figured out that my brake lights aren't operating, that is unless I touch anything on the turn signal switch (meaning either the turn signal stalk or the hazard switch). And when I say touch, I mean just that. I literally just have to touch the hazard switch and the lights come on. As soon as I let off, they go out. My question is this, is there an "easy" fix or a common fix for this, or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and replace the switch assembly? Thanks for any replies and suggestions... Josh

This is a picture taken of my wife and I in Pigeon Forge Oct. 2006 during a motorcycle trip we took with a couple friends. My wife would probably kill me if she knew I was posting this pic up. It was awfully cold, probably just above freezing.
  7. I've already checked the laws, and I can't use it unless it is 1970 and earlier. That was my plan in the beginning, but now I would like to have one posted on the front. I did look on ebay, but no 1972 Georgia plates except a "manufacturer" plate that already had a few bids on it and it was already $20 or higher. But thank you for all the sources everyone has given me. I think I'll just go with the source that 502ci gave me. That way I can have a custom letter and number combo. Josh
  8. Thank you very much for the info. I'll check those out. Josh
  9. Does anybody know a good place to look for old license plates? I'm looking for a 1972 Georgia License plate, in good condition. I've been told there is a place online that deals with old plates, but I don't know what it is. I've searched but no luck. Thanks, Josh
