  1. I wanted 76 or 77 when I was in High School but I could not afford a car like that, so I bought my 71 for $1,425.00. The rest is history!!

Could it have been in with the owners manual stuff from the dealer? I've seen this in other cars When the boys were picking parts in the junk yards back in the day. We'd travel around east coast North Carolina on the weekends when I was in the Corps. Something called " fun" back in the day.

My buddies and I did the same thing back in the day for fun!

I knew you would remember Rob. Thank you for reminding us. We were so sad when they didn’t make it to the 22 Meet in Carlisle. Great people , like most of our members are.. probably ALL.. thanks Rob…

I met Dick and Joyce at my first Eastern Meet in 2021 as well. We hit it off right away. They lived about 2 hours from me (Joyce still does). Jared and I met there for Dick’s Celebration of Life after his passing. It was a car show/ cruise in that he had been involved with putting on for many years. Here’s a few pictures.

As already said, Thank You for all that you do for the club Aaron!

CK & Glen, count me in when you go to a Western meet. (I think I may have already made a deal with Aaron not too long ago, that if he came to Carlisle this year, I would make my way out to a Western meet in the future 🙂).

I've been thinking about a Western meet since I attended my first Eastern meet. I may have to wait until I retire as well, but it's on the list!

the engine code is very hard to read. It LOOKS like it might be TKW. If so it was from a chevy truck, Also can't make out the date code but it looks to be 1973 which could have made it a 1974 truck built in fall of 1973.

    TKW 1974 350 van & bus   160 4 C-10 to 2500
    TKW 1978 350 fwrd cab L LS9 165 4 C-20 to 3500

Hey thanks Rich! I appreciate it! Just out of curiousity, where did you find this information. Thanks again!

  7. Man, I don't envy you guys with all the snow! No Thanks! We've had alot of rain and cold temps, but I'll take it! It's in the 70's here today.
