  1. Yeah if you have time to do a detail look at it and give me instructions etc. that would help him. He goes by the sizes of them and shape of the Legos. And Detailed pics may help him some too. He just needs some direction and help and I think he would figure it out as he goes with the little bit of help.

  2. Aaron,

Do you by chance have a list of the parts (Legos) you used to build and maybe instructions on how to build one?
My son, also named Aaron, (Wow that is crazy) who just turned 11y old, loves to build cars with his Legos, and has been trying to figure out how to build a first generation Monte Carlo, since he loves my Monte Carlo so much. (he is also a gear head).

Any and all help would be so great. And I know he would be supper Excited to be able to build one.

congratulations. i think i saw your car in quick shot on my classic car

Yeah I was in it about 9y ago, at Slamaogy car show when they where there for show coverage. So may have been an old one.

  4. 5 of my favorite pics my kids took this weekend for my mini shoot they did all thier selves for a Mother's Day gift for me. They all knew I wanted to some day do a rockabilly look pin up shoot with my Monte. So did it for me. And since I lost a lot of weight the last 2y I acutely am happy on how I looked with it.  💗

(Shoot was done in our side back yard with lots of trees.)

  5. My 1971 Monte, was featured in a music video down town Indianapolis, on the circle about 2 months ago.

They just released it on YouTube last night.

    Link:

They had my car, myself (I look like a dork) and my kids. They asked to use it when they saw us cruising the circle. And asked us to be in the video a little.

    Something fun....

what bag set up are you running? beautiful color by the way

I would like to know your air ride set up as well.

I have Firestone's rapid response set up. Think I'm only maybe 1 out of 10 cars/trucks out there that has it since it was a trial thing about 13-14y ago. (I was working for Firestone at the time so they used my car as a trial car)

My kids with mine over this weekend at the breast cancer walk we where invited to for photo ops. (Just before the walk started)

AWESOME Alize !! Now that is what I call giving back to your community. That is my favorite low ride machine. I missed the 2016 meet, wanted to badly see your car in person.me and the wife do the Relay for Life every year here  in our area.post-259-0-61935100-1474727657_thumb.jpg

I try to give back as much as we can. Had a lot of people getting pics today and our local news, chan 13 did a quick interview with me as part of a live feed on the FB. We are at the tail end. And I kinda lost it, since seeing all the survivors and fighters so happy with seeing my car as well as still torn up about my friend getting her brest cancer back kinda carpet up on me...

  9. 2 of my favorites from the meet of my Monte. The reflection of the sun rise in my hood on the way to the meet Saturday.

And one on the way home Sunday Afternoon that Mike got of me in the monte.

And the kids helping clean the Monte and of course the oldest passed out and dulling on my car cover at the show.

  10. Im camping to save some $...

4 kids and 2 adults gets expensive on top of travel costs, food/drinks etc...

I plan to leave early Saturday morning since its about a 4.5 to 5hr drive from Indianapolis to the show. Camping Saturday night and leave after the event on Sunday for home.

Getting super excited! As well as the kids are. ;)

  11. I'm planning on going to the Eastern meet this year. Trying to find a deal on renting a crew cab truck and car trailer to rent since there is no way I am going to get 4 kids and myself and my fence and all our over night bags in Alize.

Any one know of places that rent them for a descent price. I may also see if I can barrow a truck/trailor. Bit not going to hold my breath on that.

Who is going to the meet and where do you plan to stay. I am also researching places to stay since like I said have 6 ppl to get 1 or 2 rooms for the weekend.

Getting excited. Told everyone if it means I have to miss out on all other car shows this year so I can afford to go to the meet. So be it. Have been wanting to go for years but never have got too.

LOL! Soooo needed this today... rofl

  13. Sounds like your Monte has developed some kind of Furd disease.

    Rob

Good God, I hope not... LoL... But dues not help that I don't drive her much, (has to be nice out) and also we had just about everything apart this winter to fix the jacked up wiring.

I plan to check the vac line today after I get off of work. Even my Dad said that has got to be what it is since I only have maybe 4y tops on a full rebuilt trans with shift kit. And I don't drive it that much and when I do I don't drive it crazy hard like most people do. Its also perfect on fluid when I checked last night. Just did not think of the vac like till my Dad asked if I checked it when I was telling him about it not kicking into OD, on the phone.

Love My Daddy. He got me into this stuff. smile

  14. Found it was the bat terminal was hitting my hood and arced causing the issue. So have to heg a rubber cover for it.

Other then that she runs and drives great. But I think my vac line for the over drive is leaking. Because she won't shift into it. It looks dry rotted so going to get a new one tomorrow and pit it on. Hope it fixes it.

Darren was just kidding around. He's got one of the few Montes (convertible) that does not have a package tray. smile

    LoL! rofl

Yeah I have a custom one we made for my car, and its always a chore to take it in and out when needed, since we made it from a pattern of the original for correct shape etc...
