  1. Elec.pump = no more problems with vaporlock.
  2. Try painting the frame with black frame paint, mix some of the ash's in. That should not cause any problems. You may need a under coating gun. Everyone's right, Ash's in paint will give you a paint job you won't like.
  3. I found that both my buckets were not going all the way back. Had to remove the brackets and work them back and forth with oil to free them up.
  4. Don't forget to pre-fill the converter
  5. I ran my C5 Corvette up to 140 several times. Top end is 160. Newer vettes are even higher. I could not imagine doing that in a First Generation Monte unless someone dropped it and put a front spoiler or air dam on it. Cars tend to lift or fly at that speed.
  6. Very cool. Thats on my to do list!
  7. I agree with Alan your computer is more than sufficient. I've used firefox for my browser for years now. It has a few quirks like starting slow and starting slow but other than that its been pretty good. I tried Chrome but went back to firefox.
  8. I agree about Norton and Mcaflea, there both garbage. Have been for years. I've been using Avast free edition for the last several years. Has been pretty good. I read some of the reviews Microsoft Security Essentials and they are also pretty good. Haven't seen any posts as to Bruce's problem being solved?
  9. Do you have adobe flashplayer 10 installed in your browser
  10. You can use stripper without problems. I used it on a car that had three paint jobs. needless to say it would have been a lot of sanding. The trick is to do small areas 2 foot square at the most. Let it sit and take off with a dull putty knife dont scrape just use it to remove the loose stuff. Clean off each area as you strip the paint then wash. Stripper is just to remove about 80 to 90 percent. After you wash it You then have to use a 8o grit to bear metal. Wash again and then etch the metal with metal cleaner. let dry wipe down with wax remover let dry again. Prime with metal etch primer before it rusts. Watch out for the fumes and wear gloves.
  11. Air cleaner Heres a pic of the air cleaner
  12. Jeez, screw the neighbors. Something to look forward to, your ZO6 will leak at the differential seals if it hasn't already!
  13. Here's some advice, If you plan on driving the car in the winter put the cooler in line with the radiator cooler. If you don't on extremely cold days you run the risk of not lubricating (cold Fluid). If its a warm weather driver just get one big enough and eliminate the radiator cooler plug it off.
