looking for a 72 monte wiring diagram in color, mine is b&w. thanks!!!

wanna lube my speedo cable but it won't pull out from trans end. is there a key on speedo end thats holding it in and if so will i be able to get it out at speedo without tearing anything apart.

3 checks and yes, I know.

2 barrel Rochester, and seems ok taking off from stop. the brass float I supplied through off my builder ( kit gave specs for plastic ). maybe we'll look into that. I'm at about 16 degrees and it's barely noticeable and still not pinging!!

my 72 monte with 39k original miles hates steady low rpm speeds. rebuilt the carb, full tune up to specs. started by eliminating tcs ( vac advance is working ) then started bumping up the timing ( which helped considerably ) . I'm at 12 degrees initial timing with no pings and about to go off the pointer. anybody experience this?? oh yeah, and here's the kicker, the leaner I adjust the carb, the better it runs!!!

my 72 monte lights work fine except brake light goes out on side that directional is flashing, is this normal???

can't tell if I should paint heater box flat or satin, looks like satin. anybody know??

hey guys, lasted 6 months without a monte, but now I'm back. picked up a 72 custom with under 40k on the clock, but it's had more mice in it than people!!! bought a dynacorn blower box, but now I realize I need the inner heater box also. have any of you had any experience with these boxes ( inner or outer ) or should I start scouring for a used one??? also, I've seen the headliner instructions, have any of you been successful installing your own headliner?? this car's starting to nickel and dime me to death!!any help would be appreciated!!

chevelles are bolted directly to frame, the buicks and pontiacs are rubber mounted like montes. just curious if anyone has used one???

does anybody know if a 68-72 skylark crossmember is the same as montes. they're both th350 and skylark is not convertible.
