    Saw this today at the North Myrtle Beach dragway This thing turns consistent 5.40's in the 1/8 mile Also enjoyed watching the snow mobiles, they ran 6.20's This is what my wife wanted to do, it being our 29th Anniversary. Easy to see how this one is a keeper!!!

    I am sorry, I don't know the exact size. I was purchasing bolts for a least a year, I was a regular at all of the hardware stores. Ace Hardware was a great source, they would special order anything that I wanted.

    I would believe it was to access the flexible ornament on the 71 hood spear.

    Chrome from the factory. It's your call, whatever you think would look the best. I have seen it painted black and I think that it looks nice both ways.

    Tony, I would say that the A-pillar gauges would be the safest to monitor (never look down) And they look very nice as well. I expect a lot of Monte's have been wrecked looking down. Maybe not looking at their gauges however for that one hard to reach 8-TRACK....
