  2. What would cause my 1972 monte Carlo to have only 20-40 psi of oil pressure? I checked the oil and it's fine... It's a 350 sb
  3. Mine altogether for all the bulbs was like $25 from super bright LEDs .... I got them in the mail today so time to re assemble.... Got the cool white LEDs to match the led in my dome lamp

  9. The timing is the only thing I lack of getting my car on the road again! From what I understand you have a intake TDC and exauhst TDC... Which does it need to be on? And if it's not on that TDC what are some affects it has?
  10. Carb was rebuilt and the car now runs but the idle is very high and the motor is making a loud clicking noise! Is it the rocker arms loose or are the valves and pistons hitting?
  11. well I got it in the right spot, but i just found out that the carb is leaking fuel everywhere. Im taking it to a friend of mine to get it rebuilt!
  12. Thanks, that time it was fine. I haven't tried this yet but now i turned the distributor around until it was 180 out and then it started backfiring through the exhaust
  13. Well I moved it around to where it points to the number 1 cylinder on TDC! Well no it's starting, but it's back firing very badly and it sounds like its missing, and will not stay running on its own
  14. Wel when I pulled it the rotor button was facing the #1 cylinde and now it's pointing at the back of the carb! Could I just pick it up and turn it back to the left?
  15. The distributor is 1 tooth off??
  16. Well I got all the rocker arms done, but now with timing! The further back I twist the distributor the better ther motor runs! But now the vacuum advance on the distributor is on the fire wall an I cant turn it anymore! Also it's running very rich. I brought the #1 cylinder to TDC befor I pulled it, but I jacked the car up so it moved a little would this cause it to be off?
  17. I just replaced my head gaskets, and when I removed my heads I loosened the rocker arms to take the push rods out. Now I'm trying to replace these rocker arms, and I need to know what the torque specs are... It's a SBC 350 with stock cam rocker arms and lifters!

  19. It happens after it warms up. And yes the thermostat was installed correctly, and yes it was a chrome fitting
  20. Could it be a bad/ clogged heater core??? Also the heater has not been working too well! Could this be it??

  22. well I took the old intake off and replaced it with a edelbrock 2701 intake, and changed the oil... now it isnt smoking out of exaust, but is blowing the heater hose off of the intake and spraying coolant every where!!!! whats causing this???

  24. I recently did an intake swap and radiator swap on my 72 it has a sbc 350/350 trans and while I'm driving a good bit of white somke is comming out of the exhaust!! Even after i turn the car off a good bit is still comming out! What causes this??
