  1. Looking good, great progress!!!
  2. Thanks, I'll take a look at the Depot
  3. Steve, what is that material called from the Depot???
  4. Enjoyed it, interesting to think back about digital cameras and dial up internet...funny how thigs have changed.
  5. They look great, did you rebuild the cushions?? Or recover the old....nice job!
  6. Willie, I had to replace mine with new inner fenders from the parts place because the originals we cracked. I would be tempted to use the nos first. If they ever crack you can always use the parts place replacements. Just my opinion..... You can ship the nos ones to me if you want.... Your Monte is looking good.

That looks great, I just cleaned mine.
  8. Inline tube has worked for me. I have an extra fuel line for a big block from the fuel pump to carb if you need one. Let me know
  9. Good luck with the recovery!!!!,
  10. Looks like you're off to a good start, welcome to the club or back to the club.....
  11. Dukes of Hazard!!!!!!! The General Lee!!!
  12. Ditto what he said, hard to get to, good luck.....
  13. Gm still sells that contact 474102 is the part number
  14. John, I just bought the column from Mike B, he said that his car was a manual and I re-installed it in my automatic floor shift with no problem so I think they are the same. Maybe someone else can confirm.
  15. Bob may have one listed on ebay,
  16. Welcome, great looking car
  17. I tested mine with my sump pump back-up battery. My problem was once back in the car half didn't work and even when I rotated them they still didn't want to work. I didn't have enough room behind the cluster. I ended up replacing mine with new sockets and all new 194 bulbs. Good luck
  18. In a tire size comparison, The 255 seems to be the closest in height to the original 215/70r15 for the speedo reading, the 245 reads a bit slower. The 255 10" wide versus 9.6" for the 245. I think I will try the 245 and see what happens. Thanks
  19. Arron, so you had 245's on your old SS and 255's on the new SS. Is there much difference?? Any clearance issues with the 255's? What size would you recommend or purchase if you were going to replace the tires on your car??
  20. Thanks Arron, no handling or drivablity issues? I'm trying to figure out how old my tires are in another post. The tires are 22570R15 so I think the are to tall. Thanks again
  21. Arron, are those tires on 7" rims????
  22. It will be interesting to see what they come up with
  23. I just bought the streeing column from Mike B from his 72, he built a wood crate and bolted it to crate and then boxed it. It arrived and UPS must have really tossed it hard because it broke loose and was all scratched up. So make sure you get your parts as protected as possible.
  24. UPS is getting pricey, I just sent a clock to NH from Chicago and it was 20 bucks. It only weighed 2 lbs. Good luck
