Sought advice on replacing the whole roof or just the sheet metal (just gonna do the sheet metal) and recieved my fan shroud I purchased from another member, Thanks Mike.

I found a youngster that wants to sell his rays but he was asking alot cause he had brand new premium sportways 520s that were mounted but never used, they still had the rubber nubs on them but he didnt find a buyer so her is dropping the price so I might pick them up. No club just solo for right now.

I have some pics. postedin the members photos but it still in restore mode. I got some cancer issues that I'm gonna be doing(photos will follow). I live in the San Diego area and we are spoiled with great weather so I love to cruise the beach. I want to buy some old school tru-rays 14/7 or 8 with the corvette flags in the emblem. Think im gonna change the nickname.LOL

Those are some nice rims. I plan on lowriding my 70 in the summertime and swicthing out to my ralleys during the off season. I just picked up some original skirts from a guy here in so Cal. though I may have paid a little too much($240.00 posted on ad then $40 more for mount brackets)I got them just cause I didnt want to go chasing around for more. I've owned 3 diffrent lowriders a 1972 custom which I didnt know what I had and a 1972 cutlass supreme and a 1983 monte .

Well I had some extra time today and decided to remove the rear window and mark out where i was gonna remove the roof at, well let me tell you I got my work cut out for me.I can see why there was so much cancer in the rear . The previous owner figured he could just caulk around the window and it would be fine. sure it would! NOT...... I might just have to remove the whole roof at the pillars to the sail panels and go from there.I picked a bad week to stop drinking. LOL sorry I don't know how to post pics yet but took alot. any advice?
