  1. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/361828596130999/ For sale near me. I would be happy to check it out if anyone is interested. Dale
  2. Doug, Did you get your clamps from Pace Car Jeff as well? Happy with them? I'm about ready to order from him. Thanks, Dale
  3. I would guess your advance is malfunctioning. Keep us posted on what you find though. Dale
  4. I used D&A Old School Automotive for my SS. I did it I think 3 years ago. They were MUCH cheaper than Gardner. I can't say about concourse quality because I don't know concourse. But I can say my head pipes were original GM and the D&A head pipes were spot on. Every bend, bulge, and dent. The system was a breeze to install. I may have taken some picks of them laying side by side. I'll see if I can find them. Dale http://daoldschoolautomotive.com/montecarlo.html

  6. Glad you got it figured out.
  7. In the upper right corner click the menu button. That should open a dialogue box and you can select English at the top. Dale
  8. Only Don knows if he did a Monte may he rest in peace and I rather doubt anyone had clones on their brain in 1991. It was pretty clearly an old car.
  9. I actually saw a Yenko Monte Carlo back in the early 90's. It was trashed, no motor or front end but had the YS serial number on the door jam and Yenko headrest covers. Seems like it was a 70 model.
  10. No thanks, I'll just put a new spout on. It is original to my SS so I want to keep it.
  11. LOL Yep sure was lucky. If I had kept going it would have died on the interstate :-)
  12. Headed out about noon to go to a show and a cruise-in later in the evening. Got about 10 miles from the house and realized I had forgotten a jacket. So I turn around and head back. I pull up in front of the garage and turn her off to run inside. As I walk around the front of the car a loud BANG and antifreeze gushing everwhere!! Bummer :-( The radiator cap had come loose and hit the bottom of the hood. The metal lip around the top of the radiator opening had cracked and come apart. Looking at it, it appears to have been cracked for a while and finally let go. I guess I'll be pulling the radiator tomorrow.
  13. I had a small block chevy do this one time. For whatever reason it had flooded very badly and I had lots of gas in the oil. I had to drain the oil and replace it. I asked an old-timer about and he said to rap the side of the carb the float had stuck. I have no idea but I had the car for many years and it never did it again. Dale
