  1. Engine and trans are back in. Now reassembly begins.
  2. Looking good! The bottom inner fender filler panel behind the front wheels gets installed from underneath and can be done after everything is completely assembled. No need to wait for those.
  3. The reddish fluid is transmission. There’s a few places it could be leaking (speedo cable, pan, shifter linkage). A good shop should be able to find it. The other fluid looks like antifreeze. It could be the heater hose fitting to the heater core. If that leaks it can run down the passenger side of the firewall and drip off of the floor pan. Are you getting any coolant leaking inside the car on the passenger side of the firewall. Check the firewall under the dash area where the carpet stops and the rubber/insulation is on the firewall. Is that wet?
  4. There’s a handful of cottages but the main party area is usually the space surrounding the pool . We have the entire hotel to the club so the whole place is the Party Palace. 😎

  13. My initial thought was that only the upper one had the wide notch and the bottom would be the same as the 70 trim with the little V in the centre. I have now seen evidence of the 71s having the trim with the wide notch for the lower piece.
  14. There are a couple members that rebuild these and even make their own parts. https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/profile/24459-grant-macpherson/ https://www.firstgenmc.com/forums/index.php?/profile/339-overdrive/
  15. Maybe not as rare as I thought. It seems in 71 the upper and lower all had that notch so it can fit on the top. The 1970 only had that small V cut in the centre.
  16. I’m not eligible since you have to drive the Monte to the meet to get that award
  17. Here is a map of where the 60+ members are coming from for this meet.
  18. Saw this on Facebook. It has the notched out area to fit on the upper portion of the rear panel. Rare piece.
  19. Some great images in the video to help me correctly detail the engine since I have it out.
  20. KWick Vehicle Transport. Great guy and a member of the FGMCC. I know a few members who have used his services with great results. He has both open or enclosed trailer options. I would trust Kevin with my car. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083012508218&mibextid=2JQ9oc
  21. I have seen this many times but still watch it almost every time someone posts it.
  22. Sometimes the dealers would install vinyl tops like that.

    Hello

I poured some maple syrup on top of the hearer box so it smells like Canada when the heat is turned on. 🤣😂
