Hey all, been looking at a 70 MC SS that does not have a factory tach to the left of the speedo. If I remember correctly, there's a fuel gauge there instead. Since I'm new to these, I have a couple of questions: 1. Was the factory tach considered an option in 1970? 2. If the vehicle did not have a tach, is the wiring still in place for the tach so if someone wanted to change the gauge cluster, they could without changing the entire harness? Can anybody help me with 1970 Monte wiring diagrams. I'm going to tach and gauges from warning lights. Also installing the console and auto shifter. The diagrams I've seen and a set I ordered off Amazon(ordered 70 Monte Carlo, got 70 Malibu/Chevelle) look like they are for a warning light column shift car. I really need some help before I can move forward. I have a factory tach & gauge cluster and a modified warning light harness that I don't have a lot of faith in.
