overdrive
I got a little time to work on the SS a couple weeks ago. Pulled the dash, cleaned, polished the lense, and dyed and painted it. Glad to get this done. Dan

overdrive
Thanks everyone. I considered using a spare woodgrain overlay that I shot with satin clear. It looks really nice, but decided to stay with the original look. Dan
QuadGTI
I'm thinking of restoring my dash cover also not a big fan of the wood grain look Any aftermarket ideas out there?
NewTimer
Any chevelle dash will bolt up, it is black instead of Woodgrain. They will not have the seat belt hazard though.
QuadGTI
That might be an option Black goes well with my interior and exterior
NewTimer
If you have a good dash, you could always paint over it. If you don't want to do that you could do what I did. Plastidip it, I did this because I didn't to paint over a good dash and plstidip is basically a rubber coating you can peel off if 1. you don't like it or 2. your ready to remove it here are a few pictures of my dash with plastidip:
QuadGTI
This is what I have now, it has a few chips and cracks. I would like to replace it with same layover but I have no idea where to find it again

QuadGTI
Haven't seen any MC SS at any cruises yet in GTA. I mainly go to the Queensway Canadian Tire Sat cruise. Are you going to Tim and Brendas cruise in July http://www.timandbrendasplace.com/
LostnFound
Hi Mario, I usually go to the Uxbridge cruise night on Thursdays as they have a great regular turnout.
Daryl
I was thinking about this and a more durable replacment for the vinyl top. Why not spray the dash insert with bed liner. It has about the same texture as vinyl. Whatcha think?
