Paul Bell
The magnetic drain plug had a lot of chopped up needle bearing junk on it and one nice big chunk of the lifter. I don't wanna damage that Crower crank so.......

Canuck
Tried on the 15x8 rallys for a change. No rubbing on my first drive with 245/60 tires. I’m going to miss the old yellow letter tires but they are 19 years old and are starting to crack.
DragCat
Great shots/photos Aaron, what are "yellow letter" tires?
Canuck
The bottom photo has Goodyear raised letters that are yellow instead of white.
DragCat
Thanks, the only "yellow letter tires" I was aware of were those Nascar series. But I hate to assume anything these days. Again nice looking Monte

Realistically, I bought a shop & it came with a house. It was empty & bare when I got it, but I saw the potential. Was originally a 24x24, then a 40x40 was tacked onto that. That's how I got it. I eventually squared the building up and made that addition a spray booth/parking area.
Mike 57
I just got mine a drum of Renegade 112+ fuel today. It must like it, It drinks a bunch! Paul, if you see this check out LSM valve spring compressors. My springs are real healthy, 800 lift 7400 chip and it is real easy to change springs on the head. You will the american racing headers they fit great. They are a little tight to the block if you run a diaper, but they fit really well and do not hang down at strange angles. willie
LOL Same thing happened to me Tom, when my brother and i were kids. He kept borrowing my car at night, and i knew it from the gas that was left, but couldn't prove it. Until one night he couldn't get the same parking spot, then i had him. After that i put a cut off in it and he couldn't find it. lol
Paul Bell
After flushing and cleaning the evaporator core, installing a new expansion valve and spending an hour cleaning the box and firewall, I closed up the A/C box sealing it with some new caulking. It's 134a ready! While I had it all apart I discovered a VIN sequence stamped on the firewall, it was covered by the bottom of the A/C box. I never heard of it being here. On a side note, got color on a few things finally.
Paul Bell
Yeah, I knew about that one on the side of the blower but the one I found was a surprise. My fenders are on so.... Your restoration is pretty awesome, thanks for letting us all follow along.
MC1of80
Where to start? Lolol. Finally got to work on my 70 SS. Changed the door panels, arm rests, bases, chrome base plate, door weatherstrips, window felts, installed new mirrors, and door handles. Changed the tailight lenses with nos lenses that I have had since I was 19yrs old. I'm 51 now. Lolol along with the horseshoe mouldings and rear tailpanel Monte Carlo emblem and by Chevrolet emblem. Installed the rebuilt air compressor that I got from lastss with brackets I got from overdrive. Both great guys to deal with and their parts are second to none! Oh, and I changed the front turn signal lenses also. Lol
