EVC
Spent my morning working on my trailer hitch… I replaced the wooden mock up with the real thing… BTW,,, The mock up was a great help….. This has been a "plan as you go" project… I'll post more pics of the project in the trailer hitch forum … Project went well and the hitch fits like a glove. Note the clearance below the frame crossover .. I left room for installation of the receiver and bracing … I wanted NO modifications to the frame… I decided to bring it forward as close the the bumper as possible… It blends well with the bumper and actually reduces the visibility… Also note the symmetries of the hitch and exhaust pipes … I wanted it to blend Ed C

7tonemonte
Lifted the hood last weekend as the temperature rose to over 75 here. Got everything in my garage soaked, and my engine was drenched and dripping water off it from condensation. I put a fan blowing under the hood to dry it out, my new master cylinder is trashed, as I didn’t paint it before installing. I don’t know why I didn’t, now I have something to do I guess. Was going to hit a cars and coffee in the morning, but it’s snowing bad here right now, calling for about 6” 😡

We had her dog with us for that trip too that one was a great traveler.

Ed, Hank is truly a rather bad [censored] co-pilot Thanks… Hank is awesome to travel with ….. He even rides on my zero turn mower when I cut the pasture and lawn …. If it rolls, Hank is on it….. He's a bit over a year old now…. I keep drooling on the computer over Tony's paint job and wheels…

EVC
I picked up a few road chips last week…. Three very minor chips on the nose of hood… Three good sized chips and some new gravel marks on the windshield…. After 30 or 40 years of sand pitting, I was planning to replace it anyway… No lost sleep.. LOL From all the noise, I thought the whole damned truck fell on my car….. Turned out to be an easy touchup… Ordered her a new windshield today…. Install next Tuesday…

Dtret
157 miles driven total so far. I got my first bug. Happy day. Something finally paid the price for my bad car building days. Lol. My first “ breakdown” too. My shift cable came apart ( I shifted with the collar to get home) the metal sleeve pulled out of the end of the cable. So much for Shiftworks “ better design”.
Scott S.
Unwrapped Montelishi, put all the fluids back in her, went over all the "little things" and took her out for a spin last night. I missed how it felt to drive old girl.
Searsman
More crawling around in the garage floor this evening. Tough on an ole man. Anyw, had to bite the bullet and ordered lower box arms from metco performance products. 3-4 days and they were here. Been wanting these since seeing them in Bristol east meet last year.. installed took two evenings. One of the originals was cracked and these are sooo beautiful.. pictures included. BTW. The tires are 275/60R15.

Michael Boyte
Very nice addition and quiet reasonable in price compared to the factory boxed control arms
