Two questions drop spindles and about control arms

Recommended Posts

1st if I get 2" drop spindles do I need to run 2" drop springs as well or is the point of the spindles so that I can run factory springs. Sorry if that's a stupid question.

2nd what's the difference between lower control arms that say oval bushings and round. (Obviously other then the shape). Can I just look at my stock control arms and just be able to tell what I have.

Thank you

2" drop spindles will allow you to run stock springs. The drop is where the brake rotor shaft is at. The control arms oval vs round is how the arms are designed. The round was Chevy first design and oval is the second design. Some say that's how you can tell a big block car from a small block car.
