Photobucket pictures

I've noticed that me signature picture isn't showing up. I use photobucket for my uploads but now the photobucket image says it's not third party supported. And they want to charge me. It also looks like others have the same issue. My question is what is everyone using now to post pictures to our site. I can use my phone but the photos are thumbnails.

I noticed that also and was wondering the same thing.

On another forum my avatar disappeared so I went to Photobucket to see exactly how much money they are charging (not that I would give them any) and I clicked on my avatar picture there, looked at it and got sidetracked so I never saw the price...anyways long story short the next time I went to that other forum my avatar magically returned.

Okay I went to photobucket and clicked on my signature picture and viewed it...I then came back here and can now see it. That is weird, can everybody else see my signature now?

Photobucket has broken thousands of very informative threads on forums across the web with their new policy. Very disappointing to see this happen. I refuse to pay $400 and will be moving all pictures to car domain. /end rant

here is post from another forum that will tell you how to fix/get around it http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/125705-photobucket-fix/

(copy and pasted from said post \/ (just wanted to give credit to the right people))

There is now a plugin for Firefox and Chrome to allow you to see pictures again.
Firefox users go here https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...d-fix/?src=api
Chrome users go here https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...flicjjgj?hl=en

Search photobucket and add "photobucket embed fix" to your browser.

I can confirm that this works for chrome. No more stupid "Please update your account" pictures!!! Thank you so much for posting this.

Type in Google Web Store search box from Link below in upper left hand corner "photobucket" and a menu will open offering you a selection of prompts.  Prompt "Photobucket Embedded Fix".  Save and your done.  When using Chrome as your Browser, this did work for me (so far).  I  had avoided this as I am not a Computer whiz but finally viewed the threads and decided to give it a try.  You don't have to go anywhere else but to Link below to Fix Photobucket Pic's at least for now when using Chrome as your Browser.  Once I was finished, I checked FGMCC Club site, found a older Post of mine and guess what, my Avatar Pic's miraculously returned..........................(for now anyways)  :yay:

Here is the real Test, let's see if my Pic's show up at the bottom of this message.  Drum Roll please.............. :k

They sure did Doug, good job.

I read the post above and figured out that we can make an album when you are full member and load the photos there and then copy and paste the URL to your signature and it worked... :)

Thank you for the help guys..
