P.O.S.racer
Has anybody used the LSX Innovations LS adapter plates? i have them, the only way they would bolt up (without modifying/cutting the motor mounts ) is all the way back (i figured further back the better) but is it gonna be too far back? it seemed kinda close but than i removed the body (because during the swap I noticed the body mounts were rusted out) do i need to move the engine forward alittle. Blackhawk
Having the engine all the way back is going to cause issues with the firewall and transmission. The mounts that you used should really have a fifth position 1-1.25" forward of stock, like their non-adjustable mounts: https://www.lsxinnovations.com/product/ls-swap-plates-adapter-plates-billet-aluminum/ What issues were you having with the motor mounts in the other positions? P.O.S.racer
the stock motor mounts have tabs or something that was in the way, i can cut them off easily enough , my simple motor swap turned in to taking the body off .
