1970 Copart Monte Carlo

Recommended Posts

Came across this today.
Looks like it is located in Indianapolis slated for a future auction.
Not sure if it can be repaired, took a pretty good hit, but should have some salvageable parts
Anyone recognize it?

Hey Brian, I don't know who owns this, or anything about her. But she took a hard shot. To me it looks like a loaded dump truck because the headlight ext wasn't crushed, but above and below was.    OOOOUUUUCCCCHHHHH!!!!  Hope the driver was ok.

If the driver's door won't close, the frame under it is bowed.

I'd say it can't be repaired but it'll have some decent parts for somebody restoring another 70.

Hmmm.

Could have missed the frame altogether.

My grandpa's monte was hit hard in front right at the frame rail and extension..when I bought it originally as a parts car 10 years ago, Grille was still good, door opened and shut fine. Put Rust Free body on another frame! And it lives today
