Andy's Auto Posted March 30, 2020 Share Posted March 30, 2020 Restamp. These things were gang stamped. Sometimes they were double hit as a guy was wielding a 9 pound hammer. The stamp used to make these was a holder that all the numbers slipped into that imprinted them with one hit. The holder kept the number dies in line. Sorry!
