engine ground

Recommended Posts

Hey, there should be a ground from the back of the block, usually on the driver's side. Thought the years these usually disappear.

What I do is the grounding "trifecta" Ground straps from the engine to body, body to frame and frame to engine. This does not include/count the negative battery cable.

Grounds are extremely important if you have a console car. This way the shifter cable doesn't become the ground and siezes plus good grounds stop alot of the electrical gremlins you may have/get without them.

Thanks Tom,

I know there is a ground from the battery to the body, bat to the engine, body to the frame, but cannot locate engine to the body or the frame, so I have another little project to address before Carlisle,

again thanks
