I am attaching pictrures of as many of the members who attended the 2020 Eastern Meet as I was able to get.  Most of these will pictures of the members with their cars.  I may do this in several messages due to the number of participants.  I hope this helps to put some names with faces and with their cars.

I will try to list the names in the order of how they are posted.

I tried my best to get pictures of all of the members who were in attendance but I think I missed a few.  It seems when people arrive at the show field they scatter and this makes it very hard to capture everyone's picture.  I also try to capture pictures of members who attended but did not have their car with them.

I would like to thank everyone who attended and thank you all for helping to make this the largest Eastern Meet ever and the most First Generation Monte Carlo's in one place at one time since they rolled off of the assembly line and were sitting waiting to be shiped out.

In total, I had 110 members register with me from last year this time until the day before I left for Carlisle.  In the days, weeks and few months prior to the start of the meet we had over 35 members cancel due to the justified fears of the Covid-19 Pandemic.  We had members as far away as Surprise, Arizona drive their First Generation Monte Carlo to the meet and as close as Airville, Pennsylvania.  We had beautiful weather with the rain mostly falling while we were sleeping.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic restrtictions I cancelled our poker run which would have taken too many of our members into too many businesses with face to face contact.  In the place of our poker run I reached out to the Middletown Township Fire/Rescue/Ambulance team and they helped us arrange for a driving Cruise/Parade of almost 30 First Gen Monte Carlos through several of their community Hospitals and Senior Care Centers to honor the patients, residents and Medical Care Workers.  The Township arranged for their Special/Fire Police to block all of intersections we had to drive through.  They also arranged for Fire Trucks, Rescue Trucks, Ambulances and even an escort by the Pennsylvania State Police.

I don't know about others but for me, this honor parade was such amazing and wonderful thing to witness and participate in and was what I consider an honor to be able to participate in.  Not only was it a great thing to see but the cherry on top was that Ron Hamilton, who helped us out by setting it up for us also contacted the Local Newspaper and TV Station and we made the front page of the newspaper and were featured on the news.  Great exposure for the FGMCC.

I just counted the cars that I have pictured in the this post and the other one listing the members with their cars.  I had given a count of 53 First Generation Monte Carlo's on the show field.  I had received this count from another member.  I just counted the cars in the pictures and I came up with a total of (25) 1970's, (12) 1971's and (16) 1972's which does come out to that total of 53 First Generation Monte Carlo's which would jive with the count the member gave me.  That said, I do know of at least 2 members cars I did not get a picture of and 2 new members we signed up that had their cars there which would add an additional 4 first gen Monte's for a total of 57 rather than 53 I had posted earlier.  One of the discrepencies was one member could only attend on Friday and another could only attend on Saturday.  So to be safe I would say for sure 53 at the least and and 57 at the most.

I can see In These pics, Gary Vanadder, lives somewhere near me.   I wasn’t able to make a couple of cars and coffee trips that I saw pics of his Monte and him in.   Hoping I will catch him next week.

I was one of the new members who didn't make it for the pictures. I had transmission troubles , and had it serviced there in Carlisle Friday morning. All good now. No problem or worries Rob. Next year you can get our pictures. I still had a great time and now I know what bench racing is. It was nice to finally use my Monte Blue . Seems like all I ever do with it is take get fixed and washed. Hopefully I will do more fun stuff. Philly guy too . So keep me in the loop local shows and meets. Thanks Monte People :)

James,

I am so sorry I missed getting a picture of you with your car.  Please take a picture of you with your car and either send it to me so I can post it here or go ahead and post it yourself.

I dont think you posted a picture of my car.

Antoine, I just noticed this was the second of two posts with the meet pictures.  I am not sure what happened to the first post.  I will have to try to find it and bring it forward or try to repost them.
