RADIO DELETE PLATE?

Recommended Posts

As stated above by Aaron, yes that was an actual thing.  I have seen only one or two others but I don't remember if the corners were squared off like that or rounded.  I do think a number of years ago a member made one on their own but I'm old and don't remember who that was.

It's interesting that both cars shown here have no AC. My brother would call these stripper cars "the poverty model".

The radio delete plate was a Chevelle delete plate with a wrap on it. I envision the wrap like shelf liner with a sticky side. It looks to match the dash exactly. Too bad that material can't be bought.

When I made that plate that I sent to Kevin I had just enough to cover the plate. The elm burl came in a 6” roll. I tried to get more but it was discontinued.

Ha the Monte with the cover is  (WAS) mine I just sold the car after 27 years.  Yes it was a factory plate this car never had a radio.  I considered it once then thought I wont hear the BB402!
