Canuck
I purchased my 70 Monte on Nov 17, 1996 when I was 19 years old. It had 47,500 miles on it and all original. A lot has changed in my life during the last 24 years but driving this car still transports me back in time. So many memories, road trips, car shows, parades and FGMCC meets.

RODS70BB
I got my first Monte when I was 18, for a graduation gift. Although I had to pay it off. My Mom and Dad bought it new in Dec 1969. It was white with black vinyl top and fender skirts. Skirts were the first thing to go when I got it. LOL This was 1972. Wish I had kept it. You have a beautiful car. Congrats on the anniversary. Leghome
Got my first first gen in November of 1969. Ordered it Sept 20th tow days after release and then the Flint plant went on strike so it eventually came from the Van Nuys plant with a bent drip rail molding and the Chevelle steering wheel center. Boy that steering wheel center was UGLY
