Danny
Does anyone have any opinion on if it is worth it to switch to tubular control arms and coil over shocks? Looking for advise before I make a move on it. My front end has been rebuilt but dont know if I am just spoiled to the new cars, I had a new 72 and dont remember how it reacted back then. SPLATT71MC
I went with tubular a-arms and coilovers on mine and along with a modified alignment it's a huge difference in handling.
bob 71
could you tell me what brand of parts you used if your car us lowered and the modified alignment. i put tubular arms in with new coil springs and gas shocks handles great trying to get alignment dialed in
SPLATT71MC
I used a combo of UMI Performance front and rear arms and sway bars and QA1 coilover shocks. I haven't installed the rear coilovers yet and plan on adding front and rear UMI frame braces. I have about 4.5-5 degrees positive caster and lowered about 2" all the way around.
