Who owns this one?

Recommended Posts

It was built by a guy in the Seattle area in the 90’s. It is very nicely done. It is actually a 1970 that he put a 72 nose on because he liked it better, not cause of a crash. If I remember correctly it is a 402 big block car. The owner at the time did everything but the paint. About the only way you could tell it wasn’t factory was that he used hatchback style struts instead of torsion springs to keep the trunk lid up when it was open. I saw the car on a Seattle Classic car dealers site in the early 2000’s and don’t know where it went after that. The original owner was a nice guy to talk to.

this post had me go to the "convertibles"  page in the tech section.. .and wonder why they never went with it at GM---cause I think the body lines of the first gen lends itself to one great looking  convert...as the one in this post clearly shows!!!

I don't know, but I think I'm in love. Besides the hood ornament.

It showed up on Musclecar Lovers on Facebook with zero back story.

I would pay good money for that car.  I don’t like the wheels but that’s minor.
